Holiday Pay

8 hours of holiday pay is paid for each holiday after 1000 total hours worked. Employees are eligible for holiday pay on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Employees must work their job sites’ scheduled day prior to and immediately following the holiday in order to receive holiday pay. Holiday pay is paid at the regular pay rate. 

Vacation Pay

40 hours are paid for every 1500 hours worked. These hours can be a combination of hours accumulated at different job sites. The rate of pay for vacations is based on the average wages paid during the 1500 hours worked. If an employee works more than one job assignment with different pay rates, ESI will compute this taking the total dollar amount paid divided by total hours worked to get your average pay rate for their vacation pay.

  • Both vacation and holiday time can be accrued if there are periods in which the employee is not employed.
  • Employees time continues to accumulate for a period of 1 year from last day worked.
  • Vacation days can be taken one at a time or all at once.

Medical Insurance

As of January 1st 2016, Electrical Staffing is offering an Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliant minimum essential coverage (MEC) medical insurance plan to employees who meet employment requirements of ‘first of the month following 60 days’ worked.

This plan is offered at no cost to you.  Electrical Staffing, Inc. is covering the $75.00 per month charge for your enrollment in this plan.

This plan costs the employee nothing, and enrollment satisfies your requirement, by law, to have minimum essential medical coverage as required by the ACA. 

We also offer a minimum value plan (MVP) as well.  This plan is not funded by Electrical Staffing, Inc.

Safety Incentive Program

Each employee will be given one chance to win a monthly drawing for every week they work for Electrical Staffing Inc. without a loss-time injury within a month period. For every week you miss work, you will lose that many chances to win. We will draw for a $25.00 gift card. If you have a loss-time injury, you must return to work that same month to be eligible for the drawing. The drawing will be held the 1st Monday of each month and will be posted on our website and you will be notified.

Referral Policy

For any referral of a job order or an available employee which results in an assignment of 40 hours, we will give you a monetary bonus, providing you also have been an Electrical Staffing employee for 40 hours. The bonus will be a gift card of $100.00.

Paycheck Direct Deposit /Cash Card

Automatic direct deposit of your paycheck is available to you free of charge. Enrollment forms are enclosed in your hiring packet for both options.
